Candidates must meet one of the prescribed educational and experience combinations.

Option 1 – Master's Degree

Candidates should have a Master's Degree in any of the following subjects from a recognized university or institution:

• Economics
• Commerce
• Statistics
• Business Studies
• Public Administration

Candidates under this route must also have one year of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts.

Option 2 – Bachelor's Degree / Diploma

Candidates may also qualify with:

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration; or
• Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing, Logistics or Public Procurement.

Candidates under this route require two years of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts.

Eligible Experience

The required experience may be considered when obtained from organizations such as:

• Central Government organizations
• State Government organizations
• Statutory or autonomous organizations
• Public Sector Undertakings
• Universities or recognized institutions
• Banks
• Listed private-sector organizations

Written Examination Pattern

The written examination consists of 80 objective-type questions carrying 80 marks.

The minimum qualifying marks mentioned are 40 marks for UR/EWS candidates and 36 marks for ST candidates.

Examination Centres

The written examination is proposed to be conducted at:

• New Mangalore
• Bhubaneswar

The exact examination date, reporting time and venue will be communicated through the admit card. The examination centre may be changed for administrative reasons.

Candidates should prepare the required self-attested documents, including:

• Aadhaar Card
• Matriculation mark sheet and certificate
• Degree/PG/Diploma certificates and mark sheets, as applicable
• Valid ST/EWS certificate, where applicable
• Experience certificate
• NOC from the employer, where applicable
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Self-addressed envelope with ₹50 postal stamp

2. Fill in the application form carefully in English or Hindi.
3. Affix the required recent photograph.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all necessary documents.

6. Prepare a self-addressed envelope with a ₹50 postal stamp.
7. Clearly write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF FOREMAN OF STORES” on the application envelope.
8. Mention the applicable category on the envelope.
